Carteyna is a Planet in Star Citizen.
Carteyna General Information
For centuries, geoengineers tried to terraform this ocean planet with little success due to the diffculty in converting it's relatively thick atmosphere. However, all the attempts were halted when microscopic organism were discovered deep in the water and Carteyna was placed under the Fair Chance Act. Seeking to protect the indigenous life form, previously existing planetary settlements have been allowed to remain and are strictly regulated.
